LCA Latin Jazz Band

Under the direction of our Music Director the members of the Latin Jazz Band explore the combination of rhythms of Africa and various Latin American countries. The Band is comprised of youth musicians ages 14-18 who play the horns, strings and percussions. The LCA Latin Jazz Band perform the works of Latin Jazz pioneers as well as their own original compositions.

How to join:

Admission into the LCA Latin Jazz band is by audition only. All band members must possess prior musical training in one or more of the following instruments: strings (electric guitar or bass), percussions, and or horns (trumpet, trombone, saxophone) and the ability to read music.
