Ms. Legros recruited a committee of film experts to assist in the development and final production of the event.
QYMFF MISSION
The mission of the QYMFF is to
open the minds of teens and young adults to the growing diverse population of foreign- born residents who reside in Queens, NY and to spark their interest in other global issues.
We also intend to provide them with an opportunity to exhibit their original works on the big screen and get feedback
from professionals in the film industry.
QYMFF VISION
We anticipate that hosting this
event yearly will develop into an annual cultural tradition that will promote awareness and understanding of culture diversity
and other global issues through the art of film as well as empower young filmmakers.
